2025 Ford Mustang Interior Design & Cargo Space

The top-of-the-line is a 500-horsepower 5.0L 4th Generation Coyote™ V8 exclusive to the Dark Horse™ and Dark Horse Premium trims. In keeping with their name, the EcoBoost® trims feature a turbocharged inline four-cylinder (I4) EcoBoost engine that makes 315 horsepower. In the middle of the range, the GT trims launch you into a world of driving fun with a 486-horsepower 5.0L V8 engine.
Find the EcoBoost engine with a standard ten-speed automatic transmission. The V8 in the GT trims sends its power through a six-speed manual transmission or optional ten-speed automatic, while the Dark Horse V8 features either a TREMEC® six-speed manual transmission with rev matching or a ten-speed automatic. The high-performance Dark Horse models also come with a MagneRide® damping system, unique chassis tuning, and heavy-duty front springs to support greater composure and agility, and Brembo® brakes with six-piston front calipers for confident stopping. Active valve performance exhaust is available across the model lineup.
