2024 Ford Bronco Sport Engine Specs

Under the hood, the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport offers two EcoBoost® engine options, with availability dependent on the trim level you pick. The 1.5L EcoBoost inline three-cylinder (I3) engine makes 181 horsepower and comes standard with all but the Badlands® trim, which features the 250-horsepower 2.0L EcoBoost inline four-cylinder (I4) engine instead. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain. For added all-terrain capability, the Badlands 4x4 system includes a twin-clutch rear drive unit that can divert torque to the rear wheel with traction and help you power through slick spots on the trail.

Every Bronco Sport is equipped with a Terrain Management System™ with dial-selectable G.O.A.T. Modes® (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain). Standard terrain-focused modes include sand, slippery, sport, eco, and normal settings. Step up to the Badlands trim for additional mud/ruts and rock crawl modes.
